Here's the old Fujimi Chi-ha in 1/76 scale. It's still a pretty good kit, the only really weak detail is around the mufflers. This is built for gaming, so I won't get too worried about it! I tried to make the markings as generic as I could, but this is near impossible as Janese armour units all had distinctive markings. I'd have been better off not putting decals on at all, but I couldn't restist!
The Fujimi Chi Has build up into great little models, as does the Airfix version. The Airfix Chi Ha is selling for AUD6.99 at the moment and it may be time to add a few to the stash
The paints used were Italeri Light Brown, which I airbrushed on as the base colour. It has crappy adhesion like Valejo paints, but if you gloss coat it for decals and washes, then matt cote it after, that seals it up pretty good. I used Valejo Mahogany Brown for the disruptive brown patches and Humbrol 86 Light Olive for the green patches. The yellow stripe was done with Windsor Newton Cadmium Yellow acrylic.
