These kits are numbered in the 75XX range which started around the release of the Churchill series. (if that means anything)
They do not seem to be re-releases.
Fire away!

Okay...but a bit confusing...

May 19 2017, 2:20 PM

They have to Pz IV Hs listed but one has a Stug B photo....and even then, none of the Hs have zimmerit, and Dragon has shown they can do zimmerit...so what gives.

The F1 could have potential but I fear it will be a rejig of the Fujimi Ausf D they are currently offering...not the great F version they did many moons ago.

All in all, I think that these kits will be simplified versions of their previous offerings, intended to fuel the production line of their ready-made and painted kits. I would love to be proved wrong and that Dragon would go back to making actual model kits....we shall see...

I would tend to agree this is to make the pre-builts easier for production, as they have announced quite a line-up there, too.

mix up

May 19 2017, 3:30 PM

looks like they are a new set of kits like the Stug III F & Pz IV D.
with the wheels & rubber tracks all in one.
The second one listed as a Pz IV H is just the same title accidentally carried over.
but meant to say Stug III C/D I'm guessing as the pic is different to the Stug III B listing.
The Correct Pz IV H listing better have Zimmerit as the pic is showing a 12SS, 6th co. Pz IV H
which all had zimmerit, IF they have Zimmerit I would be interested, other wise there would be no point.

PS looks like they fixed the Stug III C/D calling it a Pz IV H error since
& added a Pz IV F to the range.

The !/35 scale kit of the Pz IV H has zimmerit & uses the same Box Artwork

looks like it to me?

Even say so on the 1/35 box that also uses the same artwork
you can see the horizontal lines on the turret armour doors behind the 635
(Because even the turret armour had Zimmerit with 12th SS).

Thats why I'm still hoping happy.gif

In which case, buy a dragon Panther with PzIV turret... Build the panther and have some spare parts for a better IV turret... well, the side skirts at least..!

Nice list!

Hopefully those Stugs are nice as they will make a good addition. Could the F-1 be a tropical version?

the same with Stug 3F. Seems that trumpis Stugs are still the best.

Revell stug potential

May 20 2017, 5:33 AM

Some refer to Trumpeter wrt scale issues, but as the hulls seem nicely detailed , and accurate and provide the running gear with it, could they be placed on Revell chassis or the stug converted back to earlier version?
enjoy modelling,
Peter
