Hi guys
Thanks for all the kind words of support and sorry if I was the catalyst for a thread which should have been about modelling degenerating as it did.
Just to let you know that I am not the slightest bit concerned or put off by the antics of this company sponsored blogger and I am actually flattered they read my reviews and wear it as a badge of honour to be given this degree of recognition by a major Company.
I would also like to thank Blogger Hiroshi for the wonderful promotion of my reviews. His warblings and the subsequent postings such as here have helped ensure a lot more people have read my reviews than would have been the case without his help, thanks heaps Mr. Blogger for doing a bang up promotion job for me.
He has also helped highlight the selective quoting and bending of the facts which is very evident in the Company sponsored advertising, promos and reviews which can be seen about the place.
It is very strange the way they treat one of their best customers as I don’t just buy one kit, I have at least two and sometimes three of every Dragon armour release over the last few years yet this outlay of my hard earned on their behalf is greeted with such distain for simply telling the truth.
It is good as mentioned that they have made corrections to some of their kits which are basically sound and could stand on their own two sprues without all the propaganda if allowed too. Every kit without exception has issues of some sort but this updating is very much selective with some others not updated.
They now have a perfect opportunity given the degree of publicity to show they do care about their customers by including a set of ‘normal’ wheels and make other updates with future half-track kits to really produce a standout model. If not it could be taken as a collective “up yours, we know what is best for you” to modellers in general, let’s see what happens with the next release?
So thanks again for all the support and I can assure you I will continue to review kits from anyone on the same ‘as I see it’ basis I always have.
Please keep any responses on topic and not allow it to degenerate to the level of Blogger Hiroshi, thank you.
