Yes Shane, I am an Aussie and you are right it it is not written as the US constitution enshrining your rights etc in a seperate Bill (I'm sure one of our US scholars will correct me). As you say it is implied however it has been tested on more than one occassion and upheld (Yes I am almost fossilised too).
You have a different take on this than me and that gets to the matter actually. Unlike DML I am not taking your words, twisting them and selectively phrasing them to make an entirely different meaning. I am also not acusing you of decietful practices. I respect your right to have a differing opinion because if we didn't the world and the hobby would be very sad (Not just the parts of it that are). Imagine only being able to buy models of the Bf 109 or the T34 for instance!
If this was just some tired little blogger trotting out his own nonsense then I'd just laugh and let it slip. This is a Company attacking a friend in an unfair and unwarranted manner with no right of reply, in a concerted campaign going back a few months now. Terry didn't deserve that, They have now taken it to their DML USA website so it is not confined to a members only backwater.
I concur with your last comment as to the joke however I believe Ronald Reagan and D generation is credited with that one in his famous line about the Russians, although he didn't utter as indicated D Generation (I think) did a lovely rippoff of it adding the words as you quaintly put them.
It must be the old Warrant Officer in me to pursue a fair go or maybe my adopted Aussie heritage. I don't know why this has angered me so much but it has, probably because it directly concerns a friend.
Don't worry if your shop is one of the ones I frequent , I'll still shop there and probably even still buy DML kits. I don't have to like the companies behaviour but they are the only game in town for a good A2 Sherman.
