Response to I enjoy...

Gents,

A couple of years ago I purchased XactraX XT-0005 Sherman Steel Chevron w/EECs Track Set. As advertised, there is: no cleanup, no knockout marks, minor assembly. The problem lies in the minor assembly.

The tracks have three lengths per side. They need to be glued together. They do not snap together. I cannot find a glue that holds them. Perhaps epoxy will work, perhaps not. But even if it does, there goes the flexibility.

The detail is stunning. It should be. Cost me an arm and a leg it did. But... they have proven to be worthless as a complete track set. The best I can hope for is to use small track segments as spares. No doubt they will still look gorgeous. But, I am not getting the complete track sets that I believed I was paying for.

For those of you who bought the LVT track sets, I hope your luck is better than mine. If you have discovered how to glue the segments together, please post a note.

Caveat emptor,

Chris
