Jay, you sure must have been p***ed off, as it looks as if you typed this with your fists clenched. Hence I'm not too sure I understand exactly what you're saying, but if this is all about $1.37, then I suppose "take it like a man" could work both ways.

I once bought something off a guy on eBay and had to pay extra duties (a lot more than $1.37, by the way) because he sent it via DHL. Did I complain? No. Just decided not to buy from that seller again.

Conversely, I've sold stuff to people here and ended up paying more for postage than what I had estimated. Did I ask for compensation? No. Guess it was up to me to have the package weighed before confirming the cost.

Bottom line is, you've had a bad experience, well, just see it as a lesson learned and make sure you don't make the same mistake again.
