Mr. Lawrence, I have followed your posts on this site for quit some time. Your common theme is "I'm fixing prices to save the physical hobby shops".
In the Kansas City, MO/Kansas City, KS metro area, brick and mortar hobby shops have all but disappeared. THere are only two physical stores remaining and their continued existence is because of the RC market and has nothing to do with your great price fixing policies. As a matter of fact, model kits are an after thought in both of these hobby shops and only occupy about a 1/5th of the retail space.
Thats ridiculous that you think any of us (the people that spend the money in the hobby) are buying your line justifying price fixing. You are forcing hobby shops to either do their business elsewhere or go out of business because you don't allow them to buy/sell kits at a price competitive for their markets. Your essentially, in the end, putting yourself out of business whether you agree with it or not.
Your posts here have been the 'off-line' discussion on many hobby sites and at midwest model contests. Modelers don't support you or your "I'm here to save the hobby shops" price fixing desires. Your trying to guarentee money in your pocket at the cost of everyone else. If that isn't your intent, that sure is what everyone is seeing.
You mention other brands 'price fixing' as justification for your stance....just because someone else is jumping off a bridge doesn't mean you should too. Just because others are doing it doesn't mean its right. And, just because a legal case was overturned doesn't mean its right....our government and legal system are making stupid choices everyday that the us 'common folk' strongly disagree with.
Your posts are borderline arrogant and you talk down to everyone like your so much wiser than we are. So, keep on cheerleading your pricing policy...we will keep spending our hobby dollars elsewhere. I have zero resistence to giving my money to an internet hobby shop. My allegiance is to those that provide 1) Great prices 2) Great service 3) Great selection. Period
