Revell and missing parts

I recently purchased a Revell reissue of the Teracruzer/Mace missile kit.
It was missing quite a few parts and was sealed with those circular tape discs at all four sides.
In fact all my Revell kits seem to have that kind of tape.
When I contacted Revell I got this reply:

"We seal all of our boxes with full shrink wrap. This tells me that your kit had been tampered with and re-sealed. We are technically not obligated to support tampered-with items, but seeing as you have already started the build, and you say that you cant return it (which is what we recommend in such cases), this is what I need you to do: Photocopy the instruction pages which show all the missing parts and highlight or otherwise mark which ones are missing and mail it, along with an explanation and the fact that you contacted me via e-mail to

Revell Inc.
1850 Howard St. Unit A
Elk Grove Village, Il 60007
ATTN: Consumer Service

For future purchase, please keep the shrink-wrap sealing method I mentioned in mind, and please dont patronize sellers that market tampered kits as new."

How do your Revell kits come? Fully shrink wrapped? I doubt it.

Owen
