Hi, all,

The American Wartime Museum, formerly the Virginia Museum of Military Vehicles, will host its open house this weekend, 18/19 August in Nokesville, VA. If you haven't been to one of these shows you owe it to yourself to be there. There will be running tanks and other vehicles, a helicopter fly-in, the USMC Historical Company with the flame thrower, reenactors, demonstrations, and probably a number of AMPS modelers from Richmond, Quantico and the DC area. I have been told that I will be doing some announcing while some of the vehicles are running about, so please feel free to walk up, introduce yourself, and take all the pictures your hearts desire...of the vehicles that is. Go the website www.VMMV.org or the website for the American Wartime Museum to register. Registering does nothing more than get you directions to the tank farm and it gives the museum a rough head count. Oh, the food will be really good too!

Hope to see many of you there. I may even jump on the Hetzer a give a few minutes of talk regarding German armor.

Richard
