Tank track conundrum...!

Hi all, I have a MiniArt 37014 1/35 T-54-1 kit(non-interior version) that I was told by various sources came with "workable" track links. Well, they ARE separate links, but they need to be glued together which sort of makes the working torsion bars useless if you wanted to impart some static animation to the wheels and tracks...!?!?

I also see that MiniArt offers up some individual link sets on their site, but do NOT mention anything about being workable. So...do you chaps have any ideas on what else I can use for "working" links...?
