Hi Guys,
Sorry i haven't posted much over the past week , but am still trying to deal with my Father's passing last Sunday . He just went to sleep and never woke up . He lived with me for 40+ years .I find comfort in the knowledge that he knew his maker and is with him now . Also he hasn't seen my mother in 21years (she died in 1988) , but know that he is with her now . I am Happy for him , but it doesn't make it any easier . :0(

Joey:
Though we've never met, I'm still sorry to hear of your father's passing. It is comforting to know he knew his Maker and passed in an uneventful way. Hopefully, his presence with you over the years will hold fond memories for you in the coming years to reflect back on when you may get a lonely moment or two. Did he enjoy your modeling hobby?

I guess that's one of those things that you always know will happen, but is still impossible to really be ready for. You make me realize how important it is to spend time with our parents, and even any loved one, as we sure don't know when they will be taken away from us! I am glad to see your usual optimistic attitude coming through in a couple of ways- that he was lucky in passing so peacefully and that he and your mother will be reunited again. I hope that you're able to stay busy and be among friends in the next couple of months, as they say 'time heals all wounds'.
Best wishes,
Tim Whistler

Joey, sorry for your Dad's passing. I can't think of a better way to go, but thats for him. For you, its tough. It gets tougher when you get to the point when you think of him as more the complete man rather than the old man. But hang in there, its normal even if painful and glad he knows his maker, as my dad did.
Take care,
Cliff
