I signed up for a subscription back in December, still haven't gotten my first issue...yet. I know the new one hit the newstand recently, but I haven't gotten my issue in the mail.

Not Yet....

But we subscribers seem to run about 15-30 days behind when it hits the dealers. That's been my experience thus far.
If in doubt, contact Ampersand. When I have had occasion to do this, Jeff has replied within 24 hours to my inquiry, and the issue resolved quickly.
It will be "interesting" to see the lead article (John Murphy/Super Pershing) and compare it to what recently appeared in Military Modelcraft International...

Thanks, Mike!

Mike's correct. We're here to answer any questions and quickly resolve any difficulties (although Mike's 15-30 day estimate is high). The subscriber issues had a considerable head start this time around. However, depending on the part of the country you are located in, this doesn't always help. Stated transit times for both UPS and USPS are 7-10 days.
Unfortunately, as UPS get more efficient, USPS seems to get less so. UPS now uses point-to-point rail and its speed is impressive. I believe it's nearly faster than air. Why the Postal Service can't clue in on this is a mystery. For a few years we used a UPS service called "Mail Innovations." This blended the best of UPS' methods with final delivery by the Post Office. When we first began using it, the price was competitive with USPS, but unfortunately it eventually doubled!
We are still exploring various options to close this gap. Remember: it is our intention that it all arrive at the same time.

Nope!

and I've called and was assured that they have been mailed out. Supposedly the new issues were to arrive around mid April and mailed out from there. Hmmmm. I'm in Dallas and the magazine is coming from Florida, Pony Express maybe? I've shipped things in the last week that have arrived to destinations much farther away in 1-2 days via USPS. I don't think they can be blamed for everything in terms of logistics they are working fine imho. I'm very frustrated with Ampersand. I have seen copies on ebay listed by the publisher. It would seem that subscribers should have had their copies much sooner. My wife paid for a subscription last March for my bday and I think I've rec'd 1 copy of a bimonthly magazine. It has been over 7 months since my last issue graced my mailbox. If this pushes some buttons then so be it!! I'm officially chapped!!

it seems that subscribers are proverbial red headed step children to & Pub Co.
I'm looking forward to reading about the WSS bust and just having the magazine back in my hands after such a long hiatus.....

Good to Hear

...sadly, nothing yet in Virginia. As I said, I'll give it to the end of the week, and then declare it MIA and contact Ampersand.
Something to be said for the "new" electronic magazines (Model Military International and AFV Modeller).
But then again, I am a bit of a luddite, and like the feel of paper between my fingers, and paper mags are much better companions in the ol' reading room than an Ipad.
