here is an ebay example - $80 for a scale model palm tree???? I have also seen small buildings for over $100. They cannot possibly sell many of these, can they?

That is what the seller wants, who knows what the manufacturers list is.....
Maybe it's a mistake and the tree is actually life size, then it is a bargain.

The Model Victoria website shows a MSRP of 60 Euros. That's $87.03 in almost real money:

How much is that in Bazooka Joe comics?

Sorry Owen, should have been more specific ....

I was not intending to besmirch the seller at all - as a matter of fact they are one of my favorite ebay sellers - probably bought 10 things from them in the last month - they ship lightening fast. No matter where you buy, Model Victoria prices are sky high. I was just wondering who buys the stuff, and is it any better than the more moderately priced diorama supplies available. I am not referring to the resin models either. I understand those are pricey, but the quality is SUPERB!!

I'll bet I can get a real palm tree for less happy.gif

Throw in a Hawaiian print shirt of excruciatingly loud color and you got a deal.
