brush painting and even more so, from my airbrush with their own thinner and have never had any of the problems I've read about.
To me if the paint is beading up it's because it is being sprayed on to heavily, too quickly. This is just my opinion however and a lot of what I read in that other thread sound more like operator error, not the paint. I'm not saying that in an accusatory, better than you way either, it's just based on my experiences with it. I've seen many people simply crank their airbrush wide open and flood the surface as well as the air around them, which really isn't what an airbrush is designed to do. If one pass total coverage is desired, a rattle can would probably be better suited for that purpose. Of course, this is all just my opinion and nothing more.
But, while I could write a novella here I will instead post a link to a video I made about three years ago as a part of a series for an online contest I took part in. You can watch me airbrush with it and brush paint with it and it performs rather flawlessly in light coats over Vallejo black primer.
