As you may know, the National Military History Center (Victory Museum)in Auburn Indiana is in finacial trouble and they just gave the MVPA till the end of the month to remove the archives. Fortunatly, members of the MVPA and The Ohio Motorpool deployed Saturday and "rescued" the archives and they are now at a location in Ohio that I can not disclose for safe keeping until a better plan comes along.

More on the museum's woes;

Mike,

Have you tried contacting any of the military museums in Ohio? Motts Military Museum (outside Columbus) might be a good place to call. There's also the Liberty(?) Musuem up near Camp Perry.

Greg,

I'm not involved with the movement. I'm a member of the MVPA and the Ohio Motorpool and heard about it through them. I can however pass this on to them.
