All,

I finally found the figure of a sitting French infantryman from WW I.
He has on a great coat and wears the Adrian helmet and putees.
He is sitting in the middle of a small town square with his back to a fountain
or monument with his equipment around him.

The scene I have in mind I found in a picture on a FLICKR site

All I need now is a general primer on French WW I figures and equipment.
I have looked at the Men-at-Arms sesries # 286 online but have to find an
actual copy to look at, to make sure it is suitable.

Other than the above, can anyone point me to an alternative?

thanks

Andy
