Response to Pea Dot Smock-Huh?

I don't think the figures ae wearing smocks. The SS do wear full suit pea dot pattern and if I recall correctly the cheaper to make ones are herringbone patterned material. Helmet covers can be made from any discards they can find. Plane tree, oak leaf and I think pea dot too were readily available with SS troops in the field. If I were to paint a Wehrmacht guy I'd make the cover splinter pattern, just to be 'safe'.
