SNLF uniforms and gear

Response to Master Box Japanese Marines

The SNLF troops had their own uniforms and gear, different from the army. Helmets were of a naval style, leggings and ankle boots were different, and they had a variety of unifrms for sea and land service, all different from the army. Rank insignia were of course different. Only late in the war did the two services share some tropical service uniform features. I am not familiar with the figure set you mention, but I doubt they could be used. It should not be that hard to find early-war Japanese Army figures, though.
