The first figures that come to mind are the offerings by DML. I do not know how available they are, however, I do recall a naval infantry set and a set for Afghanistan. It seems to me that Zvezda also have a set or two on offer.
Depending on the period of the Cold War that you are interested in modeling, I would imagine that some of the WWII figures would also lend themselves to the period as well.
I will pay more attention in case I come across something that might be of interest to you.

Hi Shane,
Give Andrew at Historica books a shout, he has Battalion figures, their modern Russian figures are superb. They also have a GRU officer in Afghan setting, fantastic figure. Russian kit and uniform has changed very little and even very modern figures can be made to easily look right in an Afghan setting.
