Trumpeter - US Army in Iraq (2005) item #00418

Has anyone done a review of these guys yet? I picked up a set last weekend and started to build them today. The main issue I have with these figures are the "rubber" flak vests. They are not figure specific - matter of fact they are all four identical. This leads to the arms not coming together properly on the weapons in final assembly.

I think for my next figure, I a going to cut out the arm sockets all the way threw to allow the shoulder more freedom of movement.

Everything else on this set is great. No flash, excellent detail, and interchangeable part allow for endless figure modification.

Trumpeter might think about issuing a modern US/NATO weapons set. Their detail on the M16's in the figure set is nice, but I would like to arm these guys with M4's

I look forward to any other ideas for solving the "rubber vest" problem.

Trumpeter has a M4 rifles set for soon release.
I have one M4 in the new US army infantry men and crew member set and it looks great.
