Hi guys, these recently finished figures are about to be fixed on and and in the vehicle (which explains the makeshift bases)so I thought I'd post them here first. The kneeling fig and the guy leaning forward are from a company called Yellow Submarine(I kid you not) which I picked up many years ago at a show, not sure if they're still about. They are a little overscale for 1/35, but I could'nt resist using them. The guy with the ciggy is from Resination with a replacement left arm. All heads and hands were replaced with Hornet and Verlinden items, and the figs were painted in enamels and oils.Any comments are more than welcome.
Let me be the first to tell you that your recent figures are excellent, in particular your "marsh pattern" !
I liked your models when I was more active in the early 90's (back then I subscribed even to MilMod !), and I like them today !
Hope you post some pics once your Wirbelwind is finished, and hope to see it 'live' at Euro ...?!
Your crew is looking just perfect!
I hope to see them soon together with the wirbel.
Stefan,when/or can we espect something new from you?I saw your work for the first time about 5 years ago in the Netherlands.since that moment I decided to paint my figures also with oils like you do!

Thanks for the positive comments regarding the present and the past. Back in the nineties my figure painting skills reached what I think of as a complacent standard. Seeing your amazing work in Tony Greenland's book in 98 astonished and inspired me to try harder, and still does. Thanks a lot, hope to see some of your newer work at Euro, regards Phil.
