Great Sets...

When will these guys hit the stores? I haven't done much building lately, but I'm always in the mood to pick up new Alpine guys. As I said before, these Panther crewmen look just super!

COOL!!!!!!!

August 11 2010, 12:19 PM

Painting is just awsome. I've seen Man-Jin Kim's work on eBay. Some lucky guy who can afford it probably have some of his stuff proudly displayed at home. The crew in black panzer wrap is probably going to be hot. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for someone to send me one for painting. Oh shoot! Why sit and wait.....I'm going to tell my 'bosses' about this one!

Cheers
Patrick

Love the stances

August 11 2010, 6:55 PM

Hi, Taesung:

Either you spend a massive amount of time studying the way people stand or you have a natural gift (perhaps both) but your figures always have a terrific feel about them. The set of the shoulders and hips, the bend of an elbow and the degree to which an arm is held out from the body give your figures some of the most powerful and dynamic poses for standing figures around. I'm especially impressed with the tanker holding the shell over his shoulder. I'd buy this figure even if he was a sanitation worker holding a trash bag!

Any chance you'll do a pair of Canadian/Brit troops in NWE in the future?

Cheers,

Chris

You're making me blush!

Chris
Thank you for the kind words!
It's great to know that someone
actually recognize and appreciate
all the little nuances in the pose.

As far back as I can remember
as a kid, I was drawing people.
So I guess it helped. happy.gif

As usual excellent stuff! But can someone alter the ammo? e.g for a Tiger, KT or Pz IV?

Best regards from Athens, Greece!

Not too difficult

August 12 2010, 2:14 PM

George

The ammo is attached to the hands.
But with careful trimming, it would not
be so difficult to change the ammo.

I know most of the AFV modelers are
skilled enough to do this kind of conversion!
