Hi,

just working on a single figure which should depict a captain of a Wehrmacht cavalery unit (motorized) in France 1940. Would it be correct to depict him with a MP38/40 and the tripple mag pouches? What color would be apropriate for the pouches? Tan, green, leather?

And what would be the correct Waffenfarbe for a Cavalery officer?

Gold Yellow for Cavalry

Im not sure about the MP40 though but seeing thats its 1940 it should be ok Im just not sure when they were distributed, but you can have early leather Pouches, which are much more fun to paint than the canvas ones

Guess I'll give him a MP40 then. Just like the look of that weapon. Not sure about the pouches though...maybe I'll just put a vehicle-pouch in the car.

Well if you`re going to use the MP40 then do the 2X 3pouches leather
they look so much better when painted up in my opinion
