Was the aluminum litter in use during the Korean War?

I downloaded images of U.S. Army litters, for some research I'm doing in preparation for an upcoming project and came across pictures of canvas and aluminum litters. Does anyone know if this type of litter would be appropriate for use in a Korean War vignette? Many thanks for any help. Best regards, Dave

Let me try to post the picture I have of the litter in question. Its construction is o.d. canvas with what appear to be aluminum poles, feet, and cross pieces. There's even a red serpent insignia on the canvas.

A US veteran is someone who, at one point, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including their life.'
