Looking for 1/24 car or decals for TPD with the blue and gold stripe. We are going to black and white cruisers, so I wanted to get a model made with the old logo.
I have learned that Cruiser 1 is out of business for good. The REAL reason for their shutting down is mainly they weren't selling all that many cars anymore, which has been the case for a couple years. I have talked to many who have purchased cars through them and we all agree their cars lacked the quality that we expected and it finally caught up with them. If a department ordered a large quantity, i.e. 50 or more, the quality was good because they would go the extra expense to have professional decals made. But if you ordered less that 50, they made the decals using decal paper on a personal computer or a vynal stickers, all of which stunk. Personally, I feel it has come full circle and the word got out and they simply lost customers because of the bad decals and people just quit buying from them like they use to. So they are out of the business and I hope they didn't stick anyone either. There are a few excellent custom car makers out there, like Code 3 Customs, Cararama, and Virgina Diecast. Code 3 has been around the longest and made the best custom I have seen. The other two mentioned are good as well.
I must agree with Dan. I ordered several customs from Crusier 1 and after getting them, I decided never to buy again because of the poor quality. Also, I know of several people who have ordered cars and have never received them now that they are out of business. I think the owner of Cruiser 1, who happens to be a active police officer as well, is sticking them and manying others. Think about it; who is going to go to Florida to collect? He knows this and is stealing their money. SHAME ON JACK SCHNUR!!!
I have heard that they did stick a few and they sold out to Haylees custom .I thought that Cruiser 1 was supposed to be using a new printing machine that prints directly onto the car .This is what their web site said anyway.

This car originally came in the Chevrolet Intro Package that was sent to police chiefs around the country, with the video, brochure, and car, which introduced departments to the Chevy Impala Police Car. I bought this car from a police chief friend of mine when he received the complete kit. I was not able to get the original evidence box that the car came in, so it has been stored in a white RC premier box since new.

it seems many copcar customizers have gone out of business this year(the latest is cruiser1)but these two were without warning and without a trace!i placed an order in july with knox enforcers and got no reply.(the order did get through,he cashed my money order)also rich flaten had a great site(mn.custom diecast)i wanted to order but got no reply.their sites stayed up many months after these attempts.any info will be greatly appreciated!_thanks ,sean

knox-enforcers had some cars on ebay not too long ago. I believe the ebay name is knox-enforcers or something very close to it.
I had a bad experience with them too.

Knox Enforcers got a bad rap because they kept stiffing people with crappy cars and they robbed the graphics for several cars from me.I have been doing customs in the Knoxville area for 6 years and have a huge client base.I would like to think we shut him down because we offer better and more detailed customs.We are a small buisness but,we did manage to build over 1,000 cars in the past 5 months and unlike some Knox Enforcers guys,I am a real cop......not a wanna be.
Looking for Maine State Police 1/24 or 1/43 in Code 3 with shoulder patch or Gearbox, These are the brands preffered but would consider others. Also looking for Augusta Maine police and Kennebec County (Maine) Sheriff's office, same sizes and brands preffered.
