Eric,
I have your model packaged, but have not had a chance to get to the PO to send it yet. That is why when we did the deal, I specifically said to wait until I sent mine before you sent yours. I know of all the patient people that have dealt with me in the past, I have tried to make sure they were aware that I have a very hectic schedule, and I actually don't get to town during business hours very often. I own a heavy industrial business, and contrary to the general economy right now, our business is so busy I find very little time to do much of anything but work. I am not saying this in sport--in the last 91 days, I was able to take one Sunday off three weeks ago. I worked yesterday from 730 AM until 700Pm, and I worked today from 8AM until 6PM. We have never been so busy in our 23 year history. In all the deals I made, and if you remember, I specifically said it in our correspondence, too, please wait until you receive my package BEFORE you send yours. I know I am a little slow in getting these things done---I only get to my computer to look at e-mails a few times a week, usually. It is at my summer house about 10 miles from where I live AND work. I do not get personal e-mails where I actually live. There have been many patient people I have dealt with who have been very good to me--Carlos Cardenas(thanks, Carlos, for the support), guys like Billy Dickerson when we had a problem on a deal that I wanted to get corrected, and the list goes on and on. I realize that these deal are very important for everybody, I do understand that. I want everybody to be happy with their dealings with me. But I do try to make sure they get their package FIRST, because I would rather wait on mine and get mine last, than to have someone feel I am trying to misuse them. Tomorrow morning I have to get up at 200AM to get several items ready--I have a 100 ton hydraulic C-frame press that recently developed a leak of hydraulic fluid that we use almost every day---because I simply ran out of time today. It is my desire to get to the PO tomorrow, if possible, but I have a lot of things riding on my work. I will do my level best to get it done. But for everybody who deals with me, I truly want you guys to be happy in your dealings with me, but I am not fast. My hope is that within a few months, business will settle down to more normal levels, but realistically, we have been abnormally busy for four years, and this year is the worst. I will try to put a clear warning to all new deals so they can--for sure-- realize that sometimes it takes me a little time to get to these items, because I truly don't want to have any hard feelings. This is supposed to be fun for us all, and I don't actually have any time to build anything now--I look forward to a future time when life will be simpler again. Eric, if I have offended you with my tardiness, I will try to get this sent tomorrow, and I hope you can forgive my failings in this issue. There was never any intent or desire to defraud you in any way. My kindest regards to all the fine modelers and traders I have dealt with in the past, for I truly find some of my only real enjoyment in life right now in dealing with you all. |
