No doubt a footballing purist could write a book on what was technically wrong with each side, but I'm sorry, sometimes you've got to belt up and enjoy the spectacle.

As entertainment that was fabulous!

Full-blooded midfield battles, proper physical play to get the blood pumping, (espescially from Blackburn), and real spirit at last from Latics.

Cracking afternoons entertainment - hardly felt the cold!

Half time and we've got 3 points in the bag, 15 minutes into the second half and we are looking at losing again and hoping for a point.. followed by a rout!
