Former Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek could be set for a return to the Premiership with Manchester City or Wigan Athletic.

The Polish keeper has made just 2 appearances for Madrid since he joined the club in the summer and has been told he can leave the club on loan during the transfer window in order to play some first team football. Dudek is concerned he may miss out on Eur02008 unless he is playing regular first team football and will seek a move with a guaranteed starting position.

Wigan Athletic appear to be the most likely destination for the player, with Manchester City not looking so attractive with both Joe Hart and Andreas Isaakson both competing for the number one jersey.
