It's good logic and I agree that in a healthy and able squad it's the correct course of action, Boyce is a more than capable deputy for either centre half or full back.

However, (there's always a however :-)) I want to win next week and I still believe Titus is as formidable a defender as they come and Chelsea won't fancy it. Boyce would play but at RB and one of the new LB's will come in for Killer with Scharner retaining his place at the heart of defence.

Now is the time to back Bramble - play him - for Bruce to show his faith in him and nurse him through this. One of the main problems with the big guy at Newcastle was that he was in and out of the squad and a scapegoat for every defensive lapse regardless of whose it was. He always came back with the worry of another error looming over his shoulder.

I reckon there is a tremendous player there, lets build the scharner bramble partnership it will be a major reason for keeping us up.
