It worked well for me. Because my husband is overweight I sked him to take some too. I told him it was for weight loss without telling him about how it worked. He trusted me and took it and it seems to have worked on him too. I'l be more sure in another couple of days, but I'd say that it works on him and it therefore can't be a placebo effect (because although he knew it was a natural plant substance for weight loss, he didn't know it was an appetite suppressant).
