ALPHA OMEGA JEWELERS TO HOST EXCLUSIVE A. LANGE & SÖHNE EXHIBITION IN FLAGSHIP STORE

Private Preview Event will launch the North American Tour

October 20, 2006 – Boston, MA – Alpha Omega Jewelers and A. Lange & Söhne are proud to announce that Alpha Omega will be the first store in North America to host the A. Lange & Söhne Watch Exhibition, a highly anticipated presentation of exclusive watches manufactured by the legendary Lange company, including new models and limited edition collectibles. The exhibit will be housed at Alpha Omega’s Flagship store in Harvard Square, located in Cambridge, MA, from November 2nd through November 7th, 2006.

To celebrate the launch of the exhibition, Alpha Omega will be hosting a private preview event on Wednesday, November 1st from 5pm to 8pm to allow watch clients, collectors and enthusiasts to be the first in the United States to view the coveted timepieces in the exhibition. Guests of this private preview event will also have the opportunity to meet the President of A. Lange North America, Marcia Mazzocchi.

The "A. Lange & Söhne" story is the history of a watch making dynasty whose roots go back to the Saxon court under Augustus the Strong. It is from these illustrious surroundings that Adolph Lange set out to the secluded Ore Mountains in 1845 to establish the Saxon precision watch making industry in Glashütte. He and his successors established new standards in high-end horology, and it did not take long before timekeeping instruments crafted by "A. Lange & Söhne" ranked among the world's most coveted treasures. The precious wristwatches that bear the "A. Lange & Söhne" signature have their roots in the grand history of Saxony. Their unique personalities and intrinsic value are based on technical ingenuity, useful innovations, and traditional elements of horological artistry. Only a comparatively small number of Lange watches can be produced each year. The enormous investment in craftsmanship as well as the passion with which Lange's master watchmakers hand-finish even the seemingly slightest detail obviously limit the manufactory's output.

Alpha Omega Jewelers looks forward to the privilege of welcoming our guests to this very special launch event. Should guests wish to attend to attend the private preview event on November 1st, we ask that they kindly RSVP to Erin Evanoka at 617.864.1227 x213 or erin@alphaomegajewelers.com by October 27, 2006. Similarly, please contact Erin with any questions about Alpha Omega Jewelers or the A. Lange & Söhne brand.
