New at NOMOS Glashütte:
Exquisite with Date
Tangente Sport Index will soon also be available with a patented additional function
With a NOMOS date: The youngest child of the Glashütte manufacture, just brought to the market at the end of 2005 (something that was almost a secret), is now also available with this additional function – Tangente Sport Index Date. Like all NOMOS date watches, this model is also outfitted with the manufacture’s own patented mechanism. It is especially flat, for this date ring is not positioned upon the movement, but around it. Setting the date is made easier by the NOMOS rapid function.
The dial (originating in the Orion model) is almost black, its markers are silver-colored. This watch featuring a sapphire crystal on the front is outfitted with a screw-down steel case back fixed with six screws, like the Tangente Sport, and contains a three-quarter plate, Glashütte click, Glashütte ribbing, stop-seconds, and diverse other Glashütte specialties. With and without date: the two new Sport models are even more robust than NOMOS’s standard watches and they are water-resistant to 100 meters.
It’s already obvious that the Tangente Sport Index, a beautifully elegant mix of the NOMOS watches Orion anthracite and Tangente Sport is a winner. The first edition of the model without date was sold out to our dealers within days, the waiting list is long, and NOMOS’s watchmakers could hardly keep up at the beginning. Also making this beautiful watch with a date function and integrating both models into the standard collection is thus logically consistent for NOMOS.
While the Tangente Sport Index is available immediately (even if waiting might partially be involved), the date version will be making customers happy in the fall. Both watches are offered without limitation and they cost 1,250 euros with date and 960 euros without.
