PS2 V12 Dead

My PS2 Slim version shutted off and cannot be turned back on. I have a DMS 4 chip installed. Anyone know what the reason might be?

my belief for this would be that your laser fix is not working as this is 4 laser protection and if it fails it stops the machine from turning on to protect laser
