raw vs smackdown help

ive had a problem with loading this game with my ps2. i can load all of my other games but when it gets to the screen where it lists the copyright stuff it freezes and doesnt go any further. any ideas would be appriciated.

yeah but other disks that are more scratched than it work fine in my ps2..
