| hey, i tried to clean my ps2 one time, and when i was screwing the very long screws back in, one of them made a cracking sound or some kind of bad noise because i screwed it too far in. now, my ps2 wont start, and the little red reset light wont turn on. I have a Version 4, with 8 screws on the bottom and a 1C Date Code. please help me out, maybe you could tell me what the problem is. Thanks. |

Don't worry too much about the cracking sound, some make that noise when the case isn't fully lined up.
Worry more about the small screw that has probably pierced the eject ribbon cable.
