My PS2 has began to act oddly. I've rented several games recently and most are unplayable, because neither of my controllers will not respond once the game starts-up. The same controllers work fine with the other games that I own, and at the PS2's menu screen. I can not find any logic for this, please help. Thanks.

Are they controllers made for Playstation 2 and not the older Playstation controllers? I know most of the newer games will not accept the old controllers.

somthin is wrong with my controllers one is for ps1 and the other for ps2 but both of them stop working on my ps2 games it does not make any sense cuz it work before i put on the game just not the ps2 controller that just don't work at all but when i plug it in it still lights up.
