Yea, i screwed up the ribbon cable on my Version 4(?) PS2. I was putting a flip top case on it so i can play import games, and I stupidly damaged the ribbon cable with a screw.
I know i can buy screws here, but i need to know how to put them back in, while i was trying to take my PS2 appart far enough to see where the port was for the cable, i accidentally pulled it out and have no idea where it goes. i have both halfs of the case off right now, i'll probalby partially put it back together for now, but i really need some help figuring out where this cable goes, and which way it goes in.
Also, is there a way to bypass the eject/reset botton? I know that the newer PS2 remotes have a reset button on them, but i don't think it will work on my PS2, unless i could buy one of the old Remotes for the IR reciver and software and try using a new remote with it. I could really use some help with this.
