Ok I have two separate questions. First off I have one PS2 that keep trying to freeze when I play games, and always loads really slow? What is wrong or is about to go wrong?

Second, I have another PS2 that the controller port disconnected from the ribbon. Naturally the ribbon is just long enough to plug into the port so I can't get enough slack to get it back in? what should I do? Is there some kind of extension I can buy, or a longer ribbon? Or does anyone know how I can get some extra slack in it so I can reconnect it. Thanks alot.

I could be more helpful if a model number for the systems were provided, but I think I can still provide some details.

Your first system probably just needs a good calibration and alignment of the laser eye. Of course I have no way of knowing that will correct the problem, because I haven’t looked at your system, though we have a 90% success rate on all systems. Calibration and cleaning is covered under our labor of $49.95.If any parts are needed then additional costs would apply. If in the event that your system requires parts to complete the repair then a technician will call you, and quote you on the cost of the repair. If you don’t want it repaired, we send back your system and you only owe us the $20.00 estimate fee along with the $10.00 for return shipping.

Is for the 2nd system with the controller port unplugged, remove the bottom case from the system and you should be able to plug it in. When putting it back together just hold the port in the place it would normally go then put the bottom case back on.

If you wish to send us your system, please click the link provided: http://www.videogamerepair.com/FormPage1.htm

If you wish to repair the system yourself, here is a link to a guide that can walk you through the steps: http://www.powerfulguides.com/portal/affclicks.php?pid=VGR

Hope this helps, good luck in your repairs.
