I have a first version PS2 not the slim version ps2's, I have a major problem with it, whenever I turn it on I get a black screen and cannot see anything on the screen. The games load up on the machine and work fine but I cant see anything on the screen there is only audio. This is not a scart issue as I have bought brand new scart cable and is still not working and have tried it on different tv's and the same thing happens a black screen appears. I can however load dvd's and watch them on the screen but all other functions including main dashboard menu and games cannot be seen. My ps2 is 3-4 years old now and there is no warranty. Can anyone please help I have a stack of 30 games which I cannot play anymore. I would really like to fix this if anyone could help. Thanks for taking time to read this. Neil.
