I have a PS2 model SCPH-39001 and I was calibrating the laser. Then when I armed it back, I don't what happened because when I wanted to play it didn't work. When I turn it on the Power Light(Green Light) turns on and the fan too but the disk tray won't open and the Eject Lght(Blue Light) doesn't turn turn on. The Screen also is just black, no signal gets trough. I've tried to dismantel it again and to see the cause of the problem but no good. The only thing I know is that it isn't the Power/Eject buttons because when it's in standby mode(Red Light), I could turn it on wiht the Power and the Eject buttons. I'm thinking that I probably messed it up but if any one knows how to fix it please reply or send me an e-mail at <andrescortesx@sbcglobal.net>. Thanks!

It sounds like you have either damaged the ribbon cable (easy fix) or have blown the BA5818FM controller chip (required a stready hand and good de-soldering and re-soldering skills.
