After a long excursion of fixing my PS2, I have come to the final steps (I hope!)
But, anyway, I need to replace the magnet in the top of the PS2, and quite possibly, the DVD Drive Top as well. One of the tabs that holds the magnet broke off.
However, to save me $10, I wanted to know if it was safe for me to just jimmyrig it to work? Is there any danger to this? Should I just get the disc drive?
