The light for my disk tray turns on but when you push it it doesnt blink and it wont open. I've read about some kind of chip being screwed up and i have had the system since they came out so I'm wondering if its repairable and if so if its an expensive repair. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, your problem is common, first of all , is it a system with the silver ribbon conecting the buttons to the motherboard or are the buttons directly connected? That will greatly narrow it down.
