I know you have done obedience and conformation with the same dog. And we know there are probably thousands of dogs across the country that are competing in both the same day.
How do you respond to someone when they say you "can't" do both at the same time? Or, that if you are doing any obedience training, don't teach sit, etc, if you are showing them in conformation?
We have a new bully owner in our club that an exhibitor told her not to train her dog to sit, etc. My response was, if you do obedience right, the dog knows the difference. And for the supposedly experienced person telling her this bad advice, it showed the lack of experience the person had.
