I understand fighting against unrealistic laws. But from most of what I read on this TX one, it is far more fair than many, including things they are tossing around here, such as MSN at 3 months, RATHER than six months.
But, at least allowing up to 10 intact bitches seems fair for a "small breeder". You have more than 10 you are breeding, well, to me, you ARE a large breeder. And not allowing more than 50 dogs in one kennel sounds far more fair than some of the commercial ones that are USDA with 650 adult dogs.
Where do we draw the line? We do have to try to do something about the commercial puppy millers. And by allowing one to have 10 intact bitches WITHOUT licensing is very fair. More than that, you should go thru the hoops a bit. JMO
