I wouldn't say Oakville was 'garbage' as you say. They beat Waterloo, London, Miss. Reps, YSE, South Central, Brampton 4 of 6 games and Halton 5 of 6. Oakville wasn't as strong as they've been in the past, ran into some major injury problems for the last quarter of their season and didn't have the horses to push past Whitby or Markham.
Whitby is very good, they will stifle teams in that tournament. Goaltending and defense are strong with a very fast group of forwards, they will also be bringing up 96's from a very strong team as well.
London is as well coached as the Rebels and I'm sure will be prepared.
The Soo being host will want to impress and Sudbury was a good team all year.
Don't forget the best team doesn't always win. |
