If washurak was such a good goalie why has the team in recent years.No playoffs for years 8 9 every year.

Some AAA goalies in the GTHL are not very good and take up a spot of a AA goalies who is good. AAA goalies just get recycled, it will catch up to them as they get older!

And what AA goalies are good. Please tell us?

AA goalies are in AA for reason, they not good enough to play AAA.

Not always the case. There are two goalies per team. Not enough room for everyone. Cost of AAA hockey when you play half the games if you're lucky. Nevermind that in many cases one goalie is the coaches son,or someone on the bench,as in Reps, and yes, even in AAA. Then add in the politics and good luck.

AA is a big jump to AAA and the goalies in AA get shots from AA players. Enough said.

go watch a AA playoff game and you will see that there are goalies there capable of playing at the AAA level. But. once again politics take over. There are at least 2 maybe 3 that can easily play. Lets face it watching last nights game, that can't do no worse. Washkuruk is not AAA. But, dad makes sure he's there.

There are a handfull of AA goalies that can make the jump to AAA.

That's for sure. Top teams at AA caring solid goaltenders.

then you should take shots from AAA players then and we'll see. It's easier to stop pucks from the majority of AA players.

You shouldn't be worried then about your kids spot if he's truly a AAA goalie. You seem to show concern by your comments. Which team is your kid with? I'd like to phone the coach to see if he's looking for next year.

Many coaches looking at AA teams for goalies and players, especially the top 3 teams!

Top 3 Midget AA teams can easily compete with top AAA teams. Goalies on these 3 teams are far superior than AAA goalies being talked about.

Lots of AA players (both skaters and goalies) could easily play AAA. Heck, when I was in Midget I played my Major Midget year in AA for the Northstars because my good friends were. I played AAA my whole life up until then. But it was my last year of minor hockey and I wanted to have more fun and not take things as serious as it would have been in AAA.

That will be a bad decision they are good in watered down AA loop but no where near good enough for AAA.

Goulding park did same thign last year. Two years ago they were a top AA team last year as the North York Rnagers they got killed missed the playoffs everything. Only setting these kids up for failure if they do that.
