One of the announcers is from Ontario. He was refering to the fact that it was taking so long to get the game going after what appeared to be a minor scuffle. He meant that in those days they could have sorted it out in less time even if there had been a bench clearing. The reference to the lakers not coming across the floor was a reference about the benches being on the opposite side of the floor. Had the benches been close together it could have been a brawl..., AWSV is bringing the game to people who otherwise would not have the opportunity to watch it at all. No TV station would stand up and bring the Mann Cup out west for viewing. I commend AWSV and its announcers for doing an excellent job. Thanks AWSV and your supporters for a job well done.
