Well that was one of the saddest displays of sport I have ever had the grand luck to witness. I would like to offer copies of that game to the public. Two different formats to choose from.
One is about two and a half hours long.
For the other, I will edit out all of the time that the Victoria Shamrocks spent rolling around on the floor. Total playing time ten minutes.
Dan Dawson said in his interview during game two that people playing at this level should be able to take a hit and suck it up and play. I wonder if he's as disgusted as I am at the way his team mates flopped around the carpet like fish out of water.
I don't know what is worse.....the fact that Victoria dove around like they'd been shot all night....or....the fact that Brent McCauley and Mark Gardonio had the apparent lack of fluid in their skulls to call a penalty every time they did it.
If all of those players are actually hurt.....Victoria will be playing five guys both ways on Tuesday Night.
Dawson did have a good game, as did Kelly Hall. O'Toole played well in front of an at times shakey defence. Peterborough scorers...scored. No bounce shots though, too many bodies on the floor in front of them.
