I'm sure you're all bruised, scraped, sore and happier than you've been in a long time. Congratulations to the Lakers and the entire organization on an incredible season.
Lacrosse is the last real sport left. Very few ever get truly rich playing it. Players play for the love of the game, the city, the team, the fans and each other. It amazes me that more people aren't as fervent about the sport. You beat the hell out of the other team in the summer and play with many of those guys in the winter. It's an exclusive club of true atheletes that respect one another when it's all said and done.
Thank you for a great season. Congratualtions on your spectacular accomplishment. You earned it, you deserve it.
