When the tickets do go on sale do you have to buy them in a set of 7 cause that would be really bad!! I would love to go to all of the games but I can't afford all 7 at once, and these tickets are going to sell FAST
I have heard thursday (Aug 31st) but if you want to know for sure call the mem center box office or just wait till the annoce it in the paper and on here.
is the Minto cup final going to be on t.v? and is fo what station is going to cover it? Also I will try to get to all of the Mann cup games but if I can't are any of them going to be broadcasted?
Hey Travis, it has been a year already. Well looks like the boys from Victoria will once again meet your boys. I trust it will be a great series once again, and of course with the same outcome. Did you ever get one of your teams jersies. I managed to pick up 3 so if you need one to wear to those home games I have one for you (green and white :-)).
Hope your still loggin in as last years pokes were lots of fun. I wish I could see the games. I hope they are video cast out here. Anyway can't wait to see if your still out there. Take care and may the best team win!!!
hey buddy, Yah i got one actually 2 so i can wear them or the pat otoole one i got a few years back. Too bad you cant get to the game, i will be there, havent missed a home game this season. So by same outcome you mean the lakers in 6 like 2 years ago??? Of course thats how it is going to happen!! Peterborough hasnt lost a game at home in the playoffs, and they arent going to start now. I dont know if the games will be webcast. should be tho they would get a lot of support. I will let you know what happens tho, and we have live stats at all the games, so just watch the forum for info.

Hey Travis, great to hear back, and so quickly. I was at the game last night when the Rocks beat New West. What a gong show. You'll be happy your not playing them. One of their players took a run at Danny Dawson after Dan scored and hit him right in the back of the head so hard they practically had to carry Danny off the floor. He got over 2 plus 2 plus 5 plus a game. He should have been fined if you ask me. The rocks team is pretty much the same with I think 3 new faces and a one or two missing.
It should be another great series. Hey do the three Evan's brother still play and what about John Grant Jr.? He did well in the Canadian field lacrosse champs as did Andy Turner. Gait did well to for an old fart.
I started playing senior C box lacrosse this year for the very first time. Wow it was great. We made it to the provincials held last weekend in Richmond/New West Minster and I had a blast. Got to see Queens Park (oldest wooden floor in Canada I believe). Anyway keep in touch. See you on the form.
Thats insane, a guy from brampton cross checked a kid from ptbo after a goal, he only got 4 mins and 2 were cancelled by the goal. the evans are still playing. Shawn (the youngest) cant play in the mann because he is in the MINTO. Scotty and Steve are playing well though. Grant is still playing too, he scored the game winner last night. Peterborough has pretty much the same team as last year and the year before, a few new guys and we are missing BRAD SELF (he went to germany to play hockey). I Cant wait (its so long away tho, two weeks tomorrow).

Hey was hurting but he came out after the game with the team for a victory lap and to accept WLA MVP award. Dan doesn't miss too many games, I think he will be more than ready.

Another lacrosse angel taken way to soon. For those of you that knew her your loss will be extream for those who don't you missed meeting a wonderful woman.
Yesterday Cathy had a massive heartattack and despite valient efforts did not survive. She was an amazing woman she kept Steve(hubby), daughter Jaclyn and boys Matt and Andy in line. Trust me that would not be an easy task. She helped
take care of her whole family and also worked hard selling real Estate. I have only had the honor of knowing her for a few years but in that time she made me feel like family. The more I got to know her the more she amazed me. Her husband a Police Officer, her oldest boy followed in his footsteps, her daughter a registered nurse and her youngest a professional lacrosse Player. You would think listening to her acomplishments she was 3 times her years. She was too young to be taken from us and way to Quick. She will live on forever in our hearts. Cathy your friends and family miss you and I know you'll be reading my posts from up there!

lol brampton blows even tho they did play sweet lacrosse and there goalie leaded them to where they got in the eastmiller played great but i just dont like brampton people when we went to brampton on a fan bus they were all stupid and lol the guy who put that brampton would crush our hopes lol hes a joke and all their diaves and stuff were stupid abd everyone could tell how much the refs were on their side but w.e we won cause were better GO LAKERS GO
what are you a brampton fan......and your telling me how to spell man all of brampton cant even read,and dont be mad the your team lost they lose every year so just live with that
I just wanted to thank both Brampton and Peterborough for an amazing series! I thought nothing could top the east final of two years ago, but this years did.
Six very exciting LACROSSE games.. For any player who reads this, you should be very proud. Great goaltending by Pat O'Toole and Brandon Miller. Also Bob Watson played amazing in his start.. Both teams at times, played brilliant defensive lacrosse.. Just a treat to watch!!

The third stars of the game should be Josh's grandparents Dean and Freda Wasson. They got up at 6 am Monday morning and drove Josh from Peterborough to Hartford Conn. to register for university (mandatory to be eligible for his scholarship). Then they started diving at 6 am. this morning to get Josh back to Peterborough for tonight's game. Jimmy Wasson (his uncle) is driving him tomorrow at 5:00 am, to the Toronto airport to fly back to Hartford.
Whether we win or lose Peterborough will still be proud of what their hometown team has accomplished. This has been a VERY good year for sports in Peterborough, went to the mem cup with the petes in the minto cup with the Jr's and now the mann cup with the Lakers. All I have to say is go Peterborough go!!!
I don't think that sending three major local teams to their respective national championships over the past few months isn't too bad for a small town like ours. The Pete's didn't quite make it, but they gave it their all, and now the lacrosse boys get to show their stuff as well. The really, REALLY neat thing about both Laker teams, (juniors and seniors) is the amount of local talent on both. There are two kinds of people in the world ........ those of us who live in Peterborough, and those who wish that they did!
